The Florida State Seminoles got the 2025-26 season off to a good start with a 108-76 win over Alcorn State. Chauncey Wiggins led all scorers with a career-high 22 points on 7-14 shooting, including 3-8 from three-point range. Lajae Jones was the Seminoles' 2nd leading scorer with 18 points on 7-10 shooting that included a few nice rim-rocking dunks. Robert McCray V scored 12 points and set a new program record with 17 assists for Florida State. The FSU defense was stout for first-year head coach Luke Loucks, forcing 21 turnovers that led to 27 'Noles points.
