Pitt comes back from double-digit deficit to beat Wake 77-72

The Panthers got their first conference home win of the season, defeating the Demon Deacons, 77-72. Pitt trailed by 12 a minute into the second half, they cut the lead to two with 8:30 left in the game and then went on a 20-10 run to pull away. Carlton Carrington and Ishmael Leggett each scored career-highs for Pitt. Carrington scored a game-high 24 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out four assists. Leggett scored 22 points off the bench and had five rebounds and three steals. Blake Hinson added 17 points. For Wake Forest, Hunter Sallis led the Demon Deacons with 22 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Efton Reid had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
