Georgia Tech stumbles to 72-69 loss against Miami (OH)

Miami (OH) vs. Georgia Tech:: The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets suffered a tough home loss to open the 2021-22 season as they fell 72-69 to Miami of Ohio. Michael Devoe had a great start to the season, with 26 points on 8-of-18 shooting, but Devoe and the Yellow Jackets went cold late in the game as Miami rallied for the win. Mekhi Lairy had a team-high 23 points for Miami in the win. Georgia Tech shot only 39% from the field and made only 4 of their 17 attempts from 3-point range in the loss.
