Illinois-Chicago vs Notre Dame: In their season opener the Notre Dame Fighting Irish had their freshmen lead them to an 84-67 win over Illinois-Chicago. Freshman Nate Laszewski's 12 points and 9 rebounds led the Irish in both categories. Nate's fellow freshmen Robby Carmody and Dane Goodwin also scored in double-digits in their first games in a Notre Dame uniform.
