May is usually the time to start thinking about the college football season. We’re a little early to start a player analysis, but it’s time for a deep dive into the schedule. We’ve already looked at the ACC’s 10 best OOC games, and now it’s time to check in on one of the ACC’s best conference games of the season, moving on to games 6-10.
1) Clemson at Louisville – November 14, 2025
Here we go, Clemson at Louisville is, I believe, the game of the year in the ACC. First, there is a huge revenge factor at play. Louisville rolled up into Clemson last year and gave the Tigers their worst home beating in over a decade. It was a game the Cardinals dominated, start to finish. Clemson should be in the thick of the ACC Title chase all season, and I expect Louisville to be too. This could be a game where the number of combined losses going into this could be 2 or less. Cardinal Stadium should be rocking for this one.
2) Clemson at Georgia Tech – September 13, 2025
The QB matchup in this one between Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and Georgia Tech’s could be one of the best you’ll see in all college football this year. If both can get by openers LSU for Clemson, and Georgia Tech against Colorado, this could be the most anticipated Clemson and Georgia Tech in years. Georgia Tech can play with anyone in the country, and Clemson might be as good as they’ve been since Trevor Lawrence was QB. This could be a whole lot of fun in Atlanta for this one.
3) Louisville at Miami – October 17, 2025
If you’re looking a team that heads into the 2nd half of the season as a major contender to get to Charlotte, it might be coming out of this game. Louisville and Miami played an epic 52-45 game last year, and this year could have similar fireworks. The Cardinals have a great chance to be 5-0 heading into this one. This is certainly one ACC game I can’t wait for.
4) Miami at SMU – November 1, 2025
SMU has a number of games on this list, which is a testament to their season last year and the return of QB Kevin Jennings. In addition, it shows the growth of their program. Miami has Carson Beck, and it’s really strong ACC QB matchup. SMU doesn’t have a huge stadium, but when it’s full, it can be very energetic. Ask Florida State, who never even competed in their loss last year, or Pittsburgh, which entered their game at SMU 7-0 and never won another game. Miami, better be ready for this one.
5) Syracuse at Miami – November 8, 2025
There are several revenge games on this list, but how’s this for motivation? Syracuse in the final week of the regular season, is the team that knocked Miami out of the playoffs. It’s going to be tough for the Orange to match last year’s 10-win success. The schedule is considerably tougher overall with games against Tennessee, Clemson, SMU, and Georgia Tech before they even get to Miami, but I’m not underestimating Fran Brown after last season.
