Syracuse battled the UConn Huskies, trailing all day until a pair of 4th Quarter touchdowns delivered a 20-17 lead for the Orange. After a UConn field goal forced overtime, Syracuse took the 27-20 lead on a Justus Ross-Simmons touchdown reception from QB Steve Angeli. The Orange defense held UConn and secured the win for Syracuse. Quarterback Steve Angeli completed 33 passes in the game for 417 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running back Yasin Willis rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown and Justus Ross-Simmons caught 5 passes for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns.
