24 - 17 For the second week in a row, the Orange went on the road and picked up a win. This week they went down to Raleigh and defeated the Wolfpack, 24-17. NC State tried to make a furious late-game comeback, cutting a 24-7 deficit to 24-17, but failed to recover the onsides kick with 1:32 left in the game. Kyle McCord had another big passing game, completing 31-42 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Jackson Meeks caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. NC State quarterback CJ Bailey threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 28 yards.
