Down to the Wire. The Stanford Cardinal were able to hold on to a 20-13 lead and get the win over the Florida State Seminoles. The game came down to an untimed down from the Stanford 2-yard line, where the Cardinals' defense stopped Gavin Sawchuck inches from the goal line. Stanford got the win despite being outgained 444-239. Running back Cole Tabb had to fill in after Micah Ford got injured, and Tabb ran for 118 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries. Wide receiver CJ Williams caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. For Florida State, Tommy Castellanos was 14-28 for 242 yards with 33 rushing yards and a touchdown.
