The Stanford Cardinal opened the 2025-26 season with an 89-79 win over Portland State. Freshman Ebuka Okorie led the way for the Cardinal with a game-high 26 points. Okorie also pulled down 7 rebounds in the win. Cardinal senior Chisom Okpara added 21 points and fellow senior Benny Gealer score 12 while swiping 5 steals for Stanford.
