The SMU Mustangs came into Death Valley and took down a tough Clemson Tigers’ team on the road, 35-24. Kevin Jennings played through a lower leg injury and finished the game with 310 total yards on 23-43 passing with 2 touchdowns in the win. Jordan Hudson was huge for Jennings and the Mustangs, catching 7 passes for 131 receiving yards, including a huge 70-yard score that opened the scoring. Christopher Vizzina got the start for the injured Cade Klubnik and completed 29-42 passes for 317 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. T.J. Moore came up big with 5 catches for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns in a losing effort.
