Previous and Upcoming Rankings

Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Offensive Linemen | Tight Ends |
Defensive Linemen | Linebackers | Cornerbacks | Safeties | Special Teams

1) Sage Surratt, Wake Forest

Sage Surratt had a fine season with 66 receptions, 1,001 yards receiving and 11 TDs – except that wasn’t a full season. It was better than fine, Sage Surratt was putting up video game type numbers in just 9 games. Over the course of a full season Surratt would have been looking at over 90 receptions, 1400 yards receiving, and 15 TDs. If he’s fully healthy, he could push for All-America Honors.

If he comes out after his junior season, he’s projected to go in the 2nd round. Can he reach the first round?

2) Tamorrion Terry, Florida State

Florida State doesn’t have nearly the talent it did during their hey day of a few years ago. Don’t tell that to Tamorrion Terry who is one of the best receivers in the country. Last season Terry had nearly 1200 yards receiving and 9 TDs. He averaged nearly 20 yards a reception.

NFL Draft scouts have said Terry has 1st round talent, and at 6’4” has the size they covet.

3) Tutu Atwell, Louisville

An ACC school has a QB, RB, and WR in the top 5 of our player rankings, and it’s not Clemson. In fact there are two ACC schools, that have pulled this trick in 2020 – Louisville and North Carolina. Tutu Atwell is the WR that makes the list for Louisville after an excellent 2019 that saw him have 69 catches for 1200 yards and 11 TDs.

He’s been clocked with a sub 4.3 forty, making him one of the fastest players in the ACC if not the fastest. The Louisville offense is going to be nightmare to deal with.

4) Dazz Newsome, North Carolina

We mentioned earlier that UNC along Louisville had a top 5 QB, RB, and WR. Here is the first of two UNC WR entries – Dazz Newsome. Newsome had 72 receptions and 1,018 receiving. He also had 10 TD catches. ProFootballNetwork calls him one of the top WR sleepers in next year’s NFL Draft.

Along with Dyami Brown, North Carolina has the best pair of WRs in the ACC.

5) Dyami Brown, North Carolina

Dyami Brown was the other 1000 yard plus receiver at North Carolina, and he did it on just 51 receptions. That led to an ACC best 20.3 yards per reception. Brown also 12 TD catchs which tied for a UNC record.

We’ve ranked 15 of the best offensive players in the ACC, and UNC and Louisville have 7 of them.
