1) Landon Turner, North Carolina
Landon Turner is is 6’4″ and 325 lbs. He’s a powerful run blocker that improved as the season continued. He was 3rd team All-ACC player last season, and has entered the 2015 on several pre-season All-American lists. NFL scouts love his size and mobility and he’s projected as a 1st or 2nd round NFL pick.
2) Matt Skura, Duke
Last season Duke offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson was a NFL 1st round pick. Matt Skura is another highly regarded Blue Devil offensive lineman. He is 6’4″ 305 lbs, and is known as the leader and anchor of the Duke offensive line. He is on the Rimington Trophy Watch list for 2015, which is given to the nation’s best center.
3) Roderick Johnson, Florida State
There is a pretty fair chance that Roderick Johnson will be number one on this list next year. Only a sophomore he made several freshman All-American team last year. At 6’7″ 312 lbs he’s an absolute mountain. He moves well for man his size and is well on his way to be a great offensive lineman.
4) Bryan Chamberlain, Georgia Tech
Last year saw Georgia Tech’s offensive line play extremely well especially in the 2nd half of the season. All-American Shaq Mason is gone, but 4 other starters return including the rock solid Bryan Chamberlain. The senior comes in at 6’4″ 295 lbs. Georgia Tech blog FromtheRumbleSeat called him Georgia Tech’s most improved offensive player.
5) Adam Bisnowaty, Pittsburgh
When you have a RB like James Conner, someone is opening those holes for him. Adam Bisnowaty of Pittsburgh is the best of the Panther linemen. He has made the All-ACC Academic football team for two years in a row. He’s obviously a bright player, and at 6’6″ 305 lbs he’s load. A quality pass blocker, if he comes out as a junior he’s expected to be a 4th or 5th round NFL pick.
