With NCAAGameSim.com still gathering info on teams for the first 2 weeks, let me step in and fill the gap and give you my own predictions for today's ACC Football action.

Note: All Times Eastern

Clemson vs Kent State, 12 PM

Line: Clemson by 38

Clemson will bring the pain, no suspense here.

UNC vs Cal, 12:20 PM

Line: UNC by 12.5

UNC will open up and play virtually everyone at QB.  Chance for some wet weather around the start.  Look for a slow start from both offenses and possibly even a defensive TD.  I like UNC to open this one up late and win 41-28.

Miami vs Bethune-Cookman, 12:30 PM

Line: N/A

Miami should have no problems and will win big.

Pitt vs Youngstown State, 1 PM

Line: Pitt by 14

Don't sleep on Youngstown State, after all they're coming off a 12-4 season and a FCS championship appearance.  Of course, their mascot is the Penguins, gotta go Pitt 45-17.

NC State vs South Carolina, 3:30 PM

Line: NC State by 4.5

The Pack and Gamecocks are playing in Charlotte at Bank of American Stadium.  NC State has high expectations and this is a key matchup early on.  I'm calling for a high probability of NC State [stuff] and a South Carolina 21-20 win.

Virginia vs William & Mary, 3:30 PM

Line: UVA by 20.5

Virginia should have no problems with William & Mary, Hoos win big.

Duke vs North Carolina Central, 6 PM

Line: Duke by 23.5

Another matchup the ACC should take, Duke big over North Carolina Central

Louisville vs Purdue, 7:30 PM

Line: Louisville by 26.5

Louisville is playing Purdue in Indianapolis at Lucus Oil Stadium, but the Cardinals always travel well.  Louisville will come out play with a chip on their shoulder, but I don't expect them to cover.   Louisville wins 47-28.

FSU vs Alabama, 8 PM

Line: Alabama by 7.5

FSU and Alabama meet up in Atlanta for perhaps the biggest college football opener ever.  My heart wants to predict an FSU victory, but I'm predicting a cover only.  Alabama wins 31-24.
