The No. 22 Pitt Panthers struggled to keep pace with No.9 Notre Dame, falling 37–15. The Panthers had a highlight on a 12-play, 79-yard drive that ended inches short on fourth down, and a pick-six provided a brief spark. Notre Dame responded immediately with a rare defensive two-point conversion on the PAT attempt, along with several other big plays to maintain control throughout. Despite Mason Heintschel’s efforts, Pitt was never able to mount sustained momentum against the Irish.
