After a loss on the road to Navy in the season opener, the Pitt men’s basketball team will now get its opener at home on Monday against Montana.

Pitt did some nice things against Navy on Friday but didn’t have enough to win. Highlights included some nice games by Jared Wilson-Frame and Marcus Carr, both of whom figure to be two of the team’s top two players this year. Wilson-Frame had 20 points in the team’s (and his Pitt) debut.
While the Panthers dropped their first game, Montana won its first contest, defeating Division III Whitworth, 72-60. Montana was led by junior guard Ahmaad Rorie, who scored 21 points in the win.
The Panthers are favored to win the game by 5 1/2 points, as I mentioned last night.
The game will be on WatchESPN at 7:00 p.m.
