In Raleigh, the Wolfpack snapped their current 2-game slide while also snapping a 2-game losing streak to the Tar Heels with an 82-58 home victory. The margin was the largest for NC State since 1962. State shot 48% from the field and 45% from 3-point land while holding the Tar Heels to 32% from the field and a paltry 15% from deep. The Wolfpack held a 16-3 advantage in points off of turnovers as they forced 12. Five NC State scorers reached double figures, led by Quadir Copeland, who dropped 20 points with 6 rebounds and 7 assists, and Matt Able chipped in 19 points. Jarin Stevenson and Zayden High each scored 13 points for UNC.
