Miami snaps losing streak with 75-71 win at Virginia Tech

The Hurricanes snapped a two-game losing streak and won their first true road game of the season with a 75-71 win over the Hokies in Blacksburg. After a poor-shooting first half, Miami shot 65.2% from the field and made 6 threes in the second half. The Hurricanes had four players in double-figures with Matthew Cleveland's 21 points leading the way. Nijel Pack had 19 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Norchad Omier added 14 points. For Virginia Tech, Sean Pedulla set a new career-high in scoring for the third game in a row. He finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Lynn Kidd added 16 points on 8-8 shooting.
