Miami Kicker Carter Davis drilled a 47-yard field goal with just over a minute to play to give Miami the lead back after Notre Dame had tied it up at 24. The Miami defense then clamped down on Irish Quarterback CJ Carr to seal the win. Hurricanes Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wide Receiver Malachi Toney caught 6 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown and fellow wideout CJ Daniels added a phenomenal 1-handed touchdown catch in the win. The Miami defense recorded 3 sacks an interception and a fumble recovery.
