The #11 Cardinals looked outstanding in their season opener, defeating the Bulldogs, 104-45. Louisville's defense held the South Carolina State starters to just four combined points. The Cardinals had five players score in double figures. Isaac McKneely hit five three-pointers and scored 17 points. Sensational freshman Mikel Brown Jr. had 11 points, six assists, three rebounds, and a steal. Khani Rooths added 20 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
