It was all Louisville as Mikel Brown Jr. and Ryan Conwell combined for 76 points as the #24 Cardinals defeated the NC State Wolfpack, 118-77. Louisville made 60.0% of its field goal attempts, including 18-30 from three-point range. Just days after Stanford's Ebuka Okorie became the fifth freshman in ACC history to score at least 40 points in a game, Brown went off for 45 points. His 45 points set a Louisville freshman record, and he tied a Louisville record with 10 made three-pointers. Conwell also had a big night with 31 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Ven-Allen Lubin led NC State with 20 points and six rebounds.
