Jamie Newman continued his incredibly hot start to the season, completing 27-of-35 passes for 351 yards and tied a Wake record with 5 touchdown passes in the win. Newman spread the ball around, but his favorite receiver was Scotty Washington, who finished with 9 catches for 141 yards and 2 touchdown grabs. Kenneth Walker III ran the ball 9 times for 91 yards and a score in the win.
