The University of North Carolina has suspended Jalek Felton.

This suspension didn't come at the hand of Roy Williams, but the school.  Felton is ineligible to play for the basketball team though due to the school's suspension.  This type of suspension has some suspecting a legal issue, but according to the Greensboro News & Record, Felton didn't have any pending court dates.  Due to Federal Privacy Laws the school would have no further comment on the suspension.

Felton had been UNC's primary backup point guard this season.  Seventh Woods is still out with an injury and Roy Williams said last week that the sophomore guard would "be out quite a while."  The Heels may opt to have Theo Pinson be the primary ball handler when Joel Berry is on the bench.

UNC plays at Clemson tonight at 7.
