The Miami Hurricanes beat a hard-fighting FIU team, 98-81, in front of their fans at home at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, FL. Shelton Henderson and Malik Reneau led the way on offense for the Hurricanes with 30 points and 22 points, respectively. Henderson shot an uber-impressive 10-12 from the floor and brought down 5 rebounds to go along with a blocked shot and a steal in the win. Reneau shot 8-12 from the floor and grabbed 6 boards for the 'Canes. Tru Washington added 13 points, Ernest Udeh Jr. scored 12 points on some ridiculous dunks, and Tre Donaldson added 10 points and 12 assists in the win.
