UNC vs NC State: The Tar Heels never trailed in their 90-82 win over the Wolfpack in Raleigh. All five North Carolina starters scored in double figures, led by Luke Maye's 21 points. Maye also grabbed 11 rebounds, his 6th double-double of the season, and was one of three North Carolina starters with a double-double. Freshman Coby White also had a good game for UNC, scoring 19 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing 4 assists. In the loss, Braxton Beverly had a big game off the bench for NC State. Beverly scored 21 points and shot 5-7 from behind the 3-point arc.
