The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeated West Georgia, 85-62 to open the season 1-0. Javian McCollum led the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 18 points and Kowacie Reeves Jr. added 15 points in the win. Luke O’Brien grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with 8 points for GT as well.
