Tuesday

#12 Boston College vs #13 Georgia Tech:  The Yellow Jackets simply didn't have the firepower to hang with the Eagles without Marcus Georges-Hunt (broken foot).  Olivier Hanlan scores 26 points and adds 5 assists and leads BC to a 80-67 victor.

#11 Wake Forest vs #14 Virginia Tech: The Hokies fought and scrapped just like they did all year long, but it wasn't enough as Wake prevails 59-57.  Devin Thomas led Wake with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds.  Adam Smith scored 16 points for the Hokies in the loss.

Wednesday

#8 Clemson vs #9 FSU: Devon Bookert and Xavier Rathan-Mayes combine to hit 5-6 3's and FSU defeats Clemson 70-57.  The Tigers made just 11-31 2 point attempts in the loss.

#5 UNC vs #12 Boston College:  Shocker in Greensboro as Boston College defeats UNC in OT 83-79.   Olivier Hanlan scores 24 points and Patrick Heckmann adds 18 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.  BC's main advantage from from long range where they made 8 3 pointers as compared to just 1 from the Tar Heels.

#7 NC State vs #10 Pittsburgh:  NC State led by 2 points at half, but the Pack couldn't answer an 11-2 Pitt run to start the 2nd half.  Pitt defeats NC State 66-56.  Jamel Artis scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win, while Trevor Lacey did all he could scoring 19 points in defeat.

#6 Miami vs #11 Wake Forest: Another Wednesday upset as Wake Forest takes down Miami 73-69.  Miami led 67-66 late, but Wake Forest got big shots from Darius Leonard, a dunk from Aaron Rountree III, and a big 3 from Cornelius Hudson to ice the game late.  Hudson led Wake Forest with 19 points, while Sheldon McClellan did all he could scoring 23 points.  The Canes clearly missed Angel Rodriguez (wrist) late in the game.

Thursday

#1 Virginia vs #9 FSU: A game of runs.  The Cavaliers led by double-figures after 10 minutes, but FSU closed the gap late in the 1st half and trailed by just 3 at half.  Virginia once again jumped out to an 8 point lead early in the 2nd half.  After that, UVA went ice cold scoring just 8 points over a 10 minute stretch as FSU went on a 29-11 run to take a 7 point lead at 59-52.  The UVA defense stepped up from there and FSU simply couldn't score late.  A key turnover from Xavier Rathan-Mayes gave UVA the opportunity they needed as Malcolm Brogdon hit a baseline jumper to give UVA the win at the buzzer.  Virginia wins 66-65.  Anthony Gill led UVA with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Brogdon added 13 points and the crucial game-winner.

#4 Louisville vs #12 Boston College: For the second straight day BC took a team to OT, but this time the Eagles lost to Lousville 72-71.  Louisville found an unlikely hero for their second straight game as Anton Gill hit a layup off of a Rozier pass for the game-winner.  Montrezl Harrell led the Cardinals with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Aaron Brown led BC with 27 points in the loss.

#2 Duke vs #10 Pittsburgh: In what has seemed uncommon so far in this tournament, Duke had a relatively easy 79-70 win over Pitt.  Duke led by double-figures for most of  the second half.  Tyus Jones led Duke with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists while Jahlil Okafor added 13 points and 14 rebounds.

#3 Notre Dame vs #11 Wake Forest: Just like the game before, Notre Dame eased into the semi-finals with an 84-70 win over Wake Forest.  The Irish scored 1.2 points per possession in the win thanks in large part to their free throw shooting.  Notre Dame made 23-27 (85%) free throws in the victory.  Pat Connaughton led the way with 19 points for Notre Dame while Devin Thomas scored 19 points in the loss.

Friday

#1 Virginia vs #4 Louisville: Virginia held Louisville to an offensive efficiency of just 74 as the Cavaliers advanced to the ACC Championship Game with a 64-47 victory.  Virginia led Louisville 28-27 at half, but a key 21-6 run from UVA put the game out of reach.  Anthony Gill once again led the way with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Malcolm Brogdon scored 15 points.

#2 Duke vs #3 Notre Dame: Quinn Cook made 5 3's and scored 32 points to lead Duke to a 89-71 win over Notre Dame.  Justise Winslow added 25 points in the win as well.  The Irish simply weren't able to match Duke's effectiveness from long range, making just 5-18 3 point attempts.

Saturday

#1 Virginia vs #2 Duke: This was the matchup we all wanted.  The first half consisted of a yo-yo game, Virginia would jump out to a 5-7 point lead and Duke would come back.  At half, Virginia led Duke 26-22.  Virginia extended the lead to 33-24 early in the 2nd half on a 3 by Malcolm Brogdon.  Duke could only cut the lead to 6 points after that and Virginia wins the ACC Championship Game 59-49.  Duke made just 13-23 free throw attempts and just 4-13 from long range.  London Perrantes led Virginia with 18 points and 6 assists.

You're virtual ACC All-Tournament Team: Malcolm Brogdon (MVP), Anthony Gill, London Perrantes, Tyus Jones, and Olivier Hanlan
