GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville leads the way with four ACC Football Player of the Week selections following the Cardinals’ 63-20 win over No. 2 Florida State on Saturday.

Sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson repeated as the ACC Offensive Back of the Week and is joined by teammates James Quick (Receiver of the Week), Josh Harvey-Clemons (Co-Defensive Back of the Week) and Jaire Alexander (Specialist of the Week).

Georgia Tech had a pair of players recognized following its 38-7 win over Vanderbilt, with Freddie Burden earning Offensive Lineman of the Week honors and Dedrick Mills selected as Co-Rookie of the Week.

The ACC Football Player of the Week selections are determined by a vote of a 14-member media panel. Selections are announced via Facebook.com/theACC Mondays at noon by the ACC Digital Network.  Be sure to like Facebook.com/theACC and opt in for live alerts to be the first to be notified.

OFFENSIVE BACK – Lamar Jackson, Louisville, So., QB, 6-3, 204, Pompano Beach, Fla.

Jackson accounted for five more touchdowns – four rushing and one passing – in the Cardinals’ 63-20 win over No. 2 Florida State. The sophomore gained 146 yards on the ground for his fifth-straight 100-yard game and the eighth of his college career in 15 games played. Jackson also threw for 216 yards. He has accounted for 18 touchdowns this season in just three games for the unbeaten Cardinals, who are now ranked No. 3 nationally by the Associated Press and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll.

OFFENSIVE LINEMAN – Freddie Burden,  Georgia Tech Sr.-R, C, 6-4, 299, Statesboro, Ga.

Burden anchored an offensive front that paved the way for Georgia Tech to pile up 511 total yards (289 rushing, 222 passing) in a 38-7 win over Vanderbilt. Burden recorded a team-best eight defenders taken to the ground in only three quarters of action against the Commodores.

RECEIVER – James Quick, Louisville, Sr., WR, 6-1, 180, Louisville, Ky.

Quick made seven receptions for 122 yards to lead the Cardinals’ offensive explosion against No. 2 Florida State. Quick averaged 17.4 yards per catch while posting the fifth 100-yard receiving game of his collegiate career.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN – Ejuan Price, Pitt, Sr.-R, DE, 6-0, 255, Rankin, Pa.

Price posted six total tackles, including four tackles for loss, two quarterback sacks and a forced fumble that Pitt scooped up for a touchdown in last Saturday’s road game at Oklahoma State. His five-yard sack in the third quarter jarred the ball loose from Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph, and Panther  teammate Matt Galambos took it in for a touchdown from two yards out, tying the game at 31. Price’s four TFLs went for 15 yards in losses (his two sacks covered nine yards). Price leads the nation in forced fumbles (1.00 per game) and ranks fourth in quarterback sacks (1.5) and tackles for loss (2.5).  He leads the ACC in each of those categories as well.

LINEBACKER – Cayson Collins, North Carolina, Jr., OLB, 6-1, 235, Charlotte, N.C.

Collins finished with 10 tackles, including two for loss, in North Carolina's 56-28 win over visiting James Madison on Saturday. Collins’ defensive work helped the Tar Heels hold the Dukes scoreless on seven of their final eight drives of the game.

CO-DEFENSIVE BACK – Daivon Ellison, Syracuse, So., SS, 5-8, 177, Linden, N.J.

In his first start at strong safety, Ellison notched a career-high and team-best 11 tackles last Saturday against South Florida. He also forced the first fumble of his career when he jarred the ball free from USF receiver Rodney Adams in the first quarter.  Ellison’s 11 stops (eight solo) are the most for an Orange defender so far this season.

CO-DEFENSIVE BACK – Josh Harvey-Clemons, Louisville, Sr., S, 6-5, 228, Valdosta, Ga.

Harvey-Clemons led the Cardinals against Florida State with eight tackles, including one quarterback sack for a loss of 13 yards. Harvey-Clemons and the Louisville defense limited the Seminoles to 113 yards passing and 284 yards of total offense.

SPECIALIST – Jaire Alexander, Louisville, So., KR, 5-11, 188, Charlotte, N.C.

Alexander helped break open Saturday’s game against No. 2 Florida State with a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown.  Alexander had a pair of returns for more than 60 yards in the contest and averaged 65.0 yards per return.

CO-ROOKIE – Dedrick Mills, Georgia Tech, Fr., BB, 5-10, 217, Waycross, Ga.

Mills, a true freshman, ran for 58 yards and three touchdowns in only three quarters of work to help lead Georgia Tech to a 38-7 win over Vanderbilt. Mills scored on touchdown runs of 15, four and five yards to become the first true freshman in Paul Johnson’s nine seasons as head coach to score three touchdowns in a game. Despite only playing in two games, Mills is tied for sixth in the ACC with four touchdowns this season.

CO-ROOKIE – Ahmmon Richards, Miami, Fr., WR, 6-1, 192, Wellington, Fla.

Richards caught four passes for a Miami freshman record 142 yards in the Hurricanes’ 45-10 road win over Appalachian State on Saturday. Richards hauled in receptions of 61 and 62 yards in the second half, both of which helped set up Miami touchdowns.
