In a marquee matchup, the Florida State Seminoles pulled off a huge upset taking down SEC foe No.8 Alabama, 31-17. FSU QB Tommy Castellanos made good on the preseason chatter and passed for 152 yards in addition to rushing for 78 yards and a score. Micahi Danzy had 56 yards rushing that included a 32-yard dash for 6. The Seminole defense held Alabama to 87 yards rushing and forced them to go 6 of 17 on third down and 2 of 5 on fourth down. They also racked up 3.0 sacks and 7.0 tackles for loss.
