Arizona State vs. Duke: It was a battle between two devils in the 2025 Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl, and the Blue Devils came out on top of the Sun Devils, 42-39. The two teams combined for a Sun Bowl record of 1,158 total yards, with each team passing for over 300 yards and rushing for over 200 yards. On a day where the offenses dominated, it was an interception by Duke linebacker Luke Mergott with under two minutes to go that proved to be the difference. Quarterback Darian Mensah completed 29 of 51 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Nate Sheppard ran the ball 22 times for 170 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Que'Sean Brown caught 10 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Arizona State quarterback Jeff Sims threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns on 27-38 passing, while also rushing for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
