Both the Duke and NC State men's basketball teams were in exhibition action on Saturday. Let's take a look at how they did.
Duke 81 Drury 65
Duke struggled early in the game against Drury on the glass and had problems slowing down the Drury motion offense. Duke trailed by as many as six points late in the first half, but settled down behind solid play from Rodney Hood and Amile Jefferson. Hood led the Blue Devils with 21 points and added 9 rebounds. Amile Jefferson finished with a double-double of 13 points and 16 rebounds. Rasheed Sulaimon didn't play for the Blue Devils as he has been under the weather.
NC State 87 Morehouse 62
NC State was playing without Jordan Vandenberg who is out 4-6 weeks with an injured ankle suffered in the Pack's exhibition game on Wednesday night. NC State didn't have any problems though as the Pack jumped out to a hot start, averaging nearly 2 points per possession over the first quarter of the game. TJ Warren led NC State with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Cat Barber added 11 points and 6 assists.
