The #6 Blue Devils battled hard on the road against the Seminoles to get a 91-87 victory. Both teams shot the ball well, with Duke making 52.8% of its field goals and Florida State making 53.4% of its shots. But it was Duke making 23 of 25 free throws that made a big difference. Isaiah Evans scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Blue Devils. Cameron Boozer finished the game with 17 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and four steals. For Florida State, Chauncey Wiggins and Robert McCray V each scored 22 points.
