The Duke Blue Devils improved to 6-1 on the season with a 23-16 win over the Florida State Seminoles, the first win ever for Duke over Florida State in football. It was Duke’s defense that led the way, forcing four Seminoles turnovers, including on three consecutive possessions in the first half. Chandler Rivers took one of the interceptions 36-yards to the house for the first touchdowns of the game for Duke. Duke running back Star Thomas carried the ball 21 times for 88 yards and a touchdown in the win.
