One of the best rivalries in sports renews as Duke takes on North Carolina in what will be legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski's final trip to Chapel Hill as Duke head coach. Roy Williams retired as coach of the Tar Heels following the 2020-21 season. The two teams faced each other 40 times since Williams took over as head coach before the 2003-04 season. In those 40 games, Duke has outscored Carolina by just two points, 3,255 to 3,253. Eight of the games have been decided by 2 points or less.
