Boston College had a great start to the 2018 season, but then they lost their final three games and their bowl game was canceled due to weather. Now in 2019, the Eagles are looking to build from last year and Head Coach Steve Addazio has stressed the importance of finishing the year strong. BC will need a number of young players to step up on defense since they only return 5 players who have started a game. On offense, the Eagles return many of their top players. Junior running back AJ Dillon has been the Eagles best offensive weapon the last two seasons and was First Team All-ACC in 2018. Dillon will have help on offense with the return of quarterback Anthony Brown and wide receiver Kobay White.
