The roller coaster ACC season continues. I’ve got to get the ACC bloggers take on things…

Robert Godhigh, Zach Laskey, Darren Waller, DeAndre Smelter

There hasn’t been a lot of good things to talk about when it comes to Georgia Tech football in recent years, but Saturday victory over Virginia Tech was one of the programs biggest wins in quite awhile. Yellow Jacket blog FromtheRumbleSeat can barely contain their excitement in their recap of the game. As a GT alum, I haveone thought from this game. Justin Thomas has a chance to be Georgia Tech’s best QB since Joe Hamilton… period.

Very interesting stuff from FSU blog Tomahawknation… After the Seminoles gut check win over Clemson, backup QB Sean Maguire’s Dad said some complimentary comments about Jameis Winston’s. Take a look and find out why.  These are the kind of stories I want to see on Jameis Winston going forward. It’s up to Jameis if that’s going to be the case.

Clemson blog RubbingtheRock discusses where the turning point was for Clemson in their loss to FSU.  My vote goes to late game fumble, as Clemson was trying to set up for the game deciding score.

What report card grades did TarHeelBlog give UNC after their debacle against East Carolina.  I’ll you give a hint, most of the grades rhyme with “ref”.

I’ve been wondering what’s the heck happened to Virginia Tech following that Ohio State win. Who better to ask than a Virginia Tech blog. Treadmillhorse has the most simple and probably correct answer. The Hokies were never more than an 8 or 9 win team.

ACCperscription has a recap of the ACC’s lackluster OOC performance this week, and what went wrong. It is not that the ACC doesn’t have quality players either. Yes it was a bad week for the ACC. What I see is that there is very little consistency. ACC teams are now more frequently winning big OOC games (Virginia Tech over Ohio State, Boston College over USC), but beyond FSU, and Clemson (the last few years) can’t follow it up with any significant winning streaks. When that happens it is hard to stay in the top 25.
