The ACC sends 4 teams to NCAA Baseball’s Super Regionals. Florida State, Louisville, Virginia and Miami are in.  NC State should have joined them, but had one of the most epic collapses you will ever see blowing an 8-1 8th inning lead to TCU.

In the meantime let’s check in on the ACC Bloggers.

Virginia advanced to the Super Regionals after defeating the USC Trojans in an epic 14-10 game. Virginia blog StreakingtheLawn reviews the game.  The Hoos came in to the NCAAs as one of more disappointing teams in the country after starting the year in the top 5. That all changed with a run to the Super Regionals, as the Cavaliers are starting to play like the team many expected them to be.

Louisville blog CardinalSportsZone has all the information Cardinal fans need as Louisville hosts another Super Regional.  Louisville sports have been just great in their first season in the ACC.

A story to follow this week is the status of Clemson baseball coach Jack Leggett after the Tigers completely flamed out in their NCAA regional. They were the only ACC team to go winless. The Tiger baseball program has been in decline for several years, and Clemson blog ShakintheSouthland tries to figure out what’s next for Leggett and Clemson baseball.

Duke blog DukeReport.com talks about how Blue Devil basketball is reloading for next year.  Look at the returning players and who is coming in. Duke is going to be a top 10 team again.

Speaking of basketball, UNC blog KeepingitHeel tells us Seth Davis has tabbed the North Carolina Tar Heels as his early pre-season basketball #1 teams.

We can’t forget about football. Georgia Tech blog FromtheRumbleSeat thinks the Yellow Jackets could field a top 15 caliber defense.  I’m not going that far, but you look at this roster, there is an All-ACC player at each level of the defense. This isn’t an elite unit, but I could see Georgia Tech fielding a top 35 type defense. The Yellow Jacket defense will be better than last year. You can mark that down.
