If you are in the middle of this Southern Snowstorm stay safe out there… In the meantime we have some articles around ACC Blogosphere for you.

Wednesday there are a couple of huge ACC Basketball games. TarHeelFanBlog has a Tale of the Tape for that little rivalry game between North Carolina and Duke. As usual plenty at stake in this on. North Carolina tries to extend their 5 game winning streak while Duke has won 7 of their last 8 games. Their only loss being a OT loss at #1 Syracuse.

DukeBasketballReport gives us their take on the Duke North Carolina game. It’s a game they call college basketball’s best rivalry. No argument from me on that.

Syracuse blog NunesMagician is a leery of a tough road game at Pittsburgh.  Obviously it would be great for Syracuse if they won, but a loss is hardly crippling. The Orange are at least 3 or 4 losses from losing their #1 NCAA seed. They do still have games at Pittsburgh, Duke and Virginia.

Pittsburgh blog CardiacHill says it seems to matter more in polls to lose pretty than to win ugly these days. Maybe but for example when Duke went to OT at Syracuse, I had no problem with them moving up. Pittsburgh beats Syracuse Wednesday and all the question marks about their ranking will get answered.

Which ACC basketball team is on a roll? How about those Virginia Cavaliers. Cavalier blog StreakingtheLawn recaps their recent win over Maryland.

ACCPerscription looks at scenarios for the 8 ACC game conference schedule + 1 SEC Rival idea that’s being tossed around. It’s interesting, but frankly I don’t see much traction in this one. I can’t see the the majority of SEC teams going for this. You know the SEC likes to keep that OOC scheduling light for the most part.
