Trey McGowens was the second half of Pitt's talented freshman duo in 2018-19, along with Xavier Johnson. Last year McGowens scored 11.6 points per game, grabbed 3.2 rebounds, dished 1.7 assists per game, and had 1.9 steals per game, which was good for 4th in the ACC. Pitt will still be a fairly young team in the 2019-20 season, but with talented young players like Xavier Johnson and Trey McGowens, the Panthers expect to see much more success this season.
