The ACC had the night off, but Thursday wasn't necessarily a quiet one for the ACC. The big news is that Jameis Winston will not be charged after allegations of sexual battery. Now that Winston's name has been cleared, FSU can focus on the ACC Championship game on Saturday versus Duke. The other news from Thursday is that Alex Murphy will transfer from Duke at the end of the semester. It's not exactly a surprise, if anything its disappointing for Murphy that he's already redshirted and will potentially lose a year of eligibility with the transfer to another D1 school. Its unclear whether or not his career would validate a sixth year of eligibility.
Tonight, Pitt takes on Loyola Marymount who is 6-2 on the season and ranked in the high 100's on Kenpom.com.
