Duke and UNC both took care of business on Monday night.

UNC topped UNCG 96-63 in a game where Heels sandwiched two impressive stretches with one mediocre one.  UNC jumped out to a 15-20 point lead and led comfortably for most of the first half.  UNCG fought back early in the 2nd half though and closed the lead to 10 points on a couple of occasions before UNC put the foot down and won by 33.  Brice Johnson led UNC with 16 points while 5 other players reached double-figures in the win.

Duke put up some ridiculous first half numbers in their 105-66 win over Elon.  The Blue Devils led Elon just 13-12 at the first media timeout, and then the switch was flipped.  Duke outscored Elon 57-19 over the final 15 minutes of the first half and took a 70-31 lead into the break.  The second half was just a formality, and Duke matched Elon in the 2nd half and won by 39.  The game all came down to the first half, where the Blue Devils put up some absurd numbers.  In the graph below, you can see at Duke's peak they approached an offensive efficiency of 200 for a good stretch in the first half.  A ridiculously good offensive performance from Duke.
