The college basketball season is underway. Which ACC basketball teams were the most impressive and least impressive on night one?
Most Impressive
- Duke - They're not going to shoot over 70% all year long, but they did what ever they wanted on the offensive end against a pretty good Davidson team
- Georgia Tech - The talent is on the roster, and the Yellow Jackets got off to a nice start with a big win over Presbyterian.
- NC State - While not as efficient as Duke's ridiculous 166 offensive efficiency, the Pack posted the second best number of the night at 131.
Least Impressive
- Miami - This list has to start with Miami, who lost to St. Francis (NY) overnight. The Canes didn't make a 3 all night and shot just 31% from the floor.
- Maryland - The Terps dug too big of a hole against UConn, but nearly came back late. The final score along shouldn't be a concern but the lack of consistency on both ends should be.
- Wake Forest - Sure, the Deacs won, but they also trailed Colgate at half before putting things together.
