That was not a good night for Wake Forest basketball. Admittedly, it took a bit of time for me to find the SEC Network on my TV. By the time I did it was 10-10. I spent a good bit of time getting the live stats for Wake Forest/Arkansas to produce anything useful, so when I checked back all of a sudden Arkansas was up 30-12. Wake Forest turned it over on 40% of possessions in the 1st half and that was thee story. The second half things weren't much better and the Deacs ended up losing 83-53. Danny Manning said it succinctly, "That was a beat-down."
Elsewhere in the ACC, Notre Dame handled Coppin State 104-67 and Virginia Tech beat Liberty 73-63.
Tonight, we see the beginning of holiday tournaments as Miami takes on Drexel in the Charleston Classic, Syracuse takes on Cal in the 2k Classic, and BC plays New Mexico in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. NC State is also in action hosting Jacksonville at home.
