Pittsburgh landed two intriguing prospects for 2018 on Friday and another on Sunday, while Virginia received a commitment from a tight end.

Judson Tallandier - Pitt
Cornerback
6-foot-2, 180-pounds
DeMatha Catholic, MD
Tallandier was one of three commitments on the defensive side of the ball that Pittsburgh landed this weekend. Tallandier is ranked as a 3-star product by 247Sports and held double digit offers.
“It was various things,” Tallandier told All Things ACC. “It was more of a comfort and gut feeling. I just feel like Pitt fits me as a player and person. The environment, coaching, staff, fans, players, and the football program itself is great. I can see myself succeeding on and off the field in Pittsburgh and this felt like the right time to make my decision.”
Wendell Davis - Pitt
Linebacker
6-foot-2, 215-pounds
Benedictine, VA
Davis is one prospect that All Things ACC spoke to back in February, when he spoke about his offer from Pittsburgh. At that time, Davis mentioned that he thought he would fit really well into Pittsburgh’s defense. Davis is the first linebacker and first commitment from the state of Virginia. He is ranked as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports.
Bobby Haskins - Virginia
Tight End
6-foot-7, 245-pounds
Hun School, NJ
Haskins is an intriguing prospect from the state of New Jersey. Haskins is listed as a tight end and has played that position in high school. However, according to Cavalier Insider, Virginia is looking for him to play on the offensive line, a position he has never played. Haskins worked out at the Virginia camp, showcasing his ability to play at offensive tackle. He is the ninth commitment for Virginia for 2018.
John Morgan - Pitt
Defensive End/ Linebacker
6-foot-2, 235 pounds
DeMatha Catholic, MD
Morgan continued the recruiting train for 2018 over the weekend. Morgan held 10 offers but the Panthers were trending recently for Morgan and he made it official on Sunday afternoon. They are recruiting him as a defensive end and outside linebacker.
"It was a great enviroment and I just fell in love," Morgan told All Things ACC.
