Wednesday afternoon was a good one if you are a Hokie fan, as Coach Fuente and Virginia Tech landed a stud quarterback in the state of Virginia for 2018.
Dejuan Ellis, a 6-foot-0, 160 pound dual-threat quarterback announced that he would be committing to the Hokies.
Ellis held offers from programs such as Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, and Wake Forest but he decided to stay in-state and become the second commitment for the Hokies in 2018.
As a sophomore last season, Ellis threw for 1,071 yards and eight touchdowns, while also rushing for another 407 yards on the ground.
