Kyron Drones continues to be the story for the Hokies this season. The transfer quarterback has guided Virginia Tech to their second win in a row and a 3-1 record in the ACC. Against Syracuse, Drones threw for 194 yards and a touchdown on 15 for 24 passing. He also ran for 56 yards on eight carries.
