- Duke - The Blue Devils won in Chicago against Iowa State and went to Atlanta and lost to Georgia Tech. The loss to the Yellow Jackets wasn't enough to move the Blue Devils from the top spot though. The big question from their trip to Atlanta is can Kyle Singler handle the small forward position in the ACC? Singler was 2-13 shooting against the Yellow Jackets.
- UNC - I'm going to look past the loss in Charleston as the Heels were playing on the road without Ginyard and Graves. Its easier to look past that loss since the Heels bounced back to beat Virginia Tech in their conference opener.
- Miami - I'm on the Miami bandwagon now folks. When Dwayne Collins plays like he did against Wake Forest, the Canes are as good as anyone in the ACC.
- Wake Forest - The loss to Miami at Miami was a tough one, but Wake is still very talented. The Demon Deacons need CJ Harris and Ari Stewart to play better than they did against the Canes. The two freshmen are what take the Deacs to the next level.
- Clemson - Clemson won a game they were supposed to win against Boston College at home.
- Georgia Tech - After a loss to in-state rival Georgia, people were calling for Hewitt to be fired. After a win against Duke, the Yellow Jackets are talking NCAA Tournament.
- Virginia Tech - Good to see Delaney back against the Heels, but the Hokies need more than 4 points from Jeff Allen.
- Maryland - The Terps do this every year and Greivis Vasquez showed how he can dominate a game in the 2nd half against FSU.
- Virginia - UVA was the only team in the ACC to win on the road this weekend, beating NC State. The Cavaliers finished strong against the Pack scoring on 9 of 10 possessions at the end of the game and holding the Pack nearly scoreless.
- FSU - FSU has got to figure out the turnover issues or the Noles will end up at the bottom of conference play.
- NC State - What hurt more Pack fans, the buzzer beater against Florida, or losing at home to Virginia?
- Boston College - Boston College lost badly on the road at Clemson. While losing at Clemson is never a bad thing, the Eagles simply never had a chance.
Notes
- Games I'm looking forward to this week: Miami at Virginia Tech on Wednesday night, UNC at Clemson on Wednesday night, Georgia Tech at UNC on Saturday, Wake Forest at Duke on Sunday night
- Not trying to jinx anyone here, but the ACC is surprisingly healthy right now.
