Virginia's late game heroics lead to 86-83 win over Miami

Each team lit up the nets, but it would be UVA moving on with their eighth consecutive victory after defeating Miami 86-83. The 'Canes shot 48% on the afternoon, and the 'Hoos shot a blistering 58% and assisted on 18 of their 29 field goals. Miami outrebounded Virginia 30-23, including having an 18-2 advantage on second-chance points. UVA got out on the floor and ran to the tune of 20 fast break points. Jacari White paced UVA with 17 points, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. His teammate Thijs De Ridder had 14 points and 3 assists in addition to Sam Lewis chipping in 15 points. Shelton Henderson and Tre Donaldson each scored 18 points for Miami
