According to Norm Wood, Virginia's David Watford will transfer.
Just spoke to QB David Watford, a Hampton High grad. He has signed release from #UVA, plans to transfer for final season of eligibility.

This is one of those transfers that works out better for everyone involved. Watford was never going to get another shot at quarterback after driving the ship repeatedly into the iceberg in 2013, and the snaps he took at wide receiver this fall seem better devoted to, you know, actual wide receivers.
By transferring, Watford gets to pick the FCS or FBS school (he’s on pace to graduate) that provides the best fit, and the opportunity to try to finish his college career on a high note. We get a slightly less cluttered depth chart at quarterback (Nick Johns arrives in the fall to join Greyson Lambert, Matt Johns, Corwin Cutler, and Brendan Marshall) and a scholarship to use on someone with potential remaining. Everybody wins.
We’ll always have that 21-20 comeback win over Idaho to remember him by, if we really want to be reminiscing over comeback wins against 2-10 teams.
