The Cavaliers won their eighth game in a row by defeating the Seminoles on the road, 80-76. In a matchup of two of the best defenses in the ACC, it was a high-scoring game that saw both offenses shoot 50% or above from the field. Virginia shot 51.1% and Florida State shot 50.0% for the game. UVA's Isaac McKeeley made five three-pointers and scored a career-best 29 points. Reece Beekman added 21 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals. FSU's Jamir Watkins led the Seminoles with 21 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals. Chandler Jackson had 17 points and five rebounds.
