The North Carolina Tar Heels received their national championship rings earlier in the week and one player showed his off on Snapchat.

It’s only been a few months since the North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs to capture their sixth national championship in program history.

Still, it feels like yesterday.

With the season over, the 2017 NBA Draft complete and the recruiting classes beginning to head to campus, the Tar Heels got something special the other day.

UNC players, coaches and staff received their 2017 national championship rings as evident by a snapchat photo from Brandon Robinson.

Check it out:

UNC hasn’t made an official announcement on the rings but it’s likely coming soon.

Robinson shared the photo on Tuesday night, showing followers of his snapchat how good they look.

As you can see, the ring has the UNC logo in the middle with an image of the actual trophy. It’s surrounded by diamonds and the word “national champions” on the outside.

Robinson gave fans a first hand look at the new rings and expect many more images to surface soon.

UNC lost Kennedy Meeks, Isaiah Hicks and Nate Britt to graduation and both Tony Bradley Jr. and Justin Jackson to the NBA via early entrants.

They do return Joel Berry, Theo Pinson, Seventh Woods, Brandon Robinson, Luke Maye and Kenny Williams, all players who played a big role in the Tar Heels winning their sixth national championship.

Check back for more on the UNC basketball team as they look to repeat in 2017-18.
